Sterling and I made it along to The Rose Theater last night to see Luciano Lionheart return to Second Life. I think we can safely say it was "Most Triumphant"! The show was dazzling and I was amazed at how many people they managed to pack in. The show was a charity event for Cancer and by my count there was something like 42K in the pot by the end of the night. Amazing generosity.
Luciano certainly sets the bar high for professional performers in-world. It's always an inspiration to see good performers on SL stages. I strive to uphold a professional attitude in my work and I do work hard at it and hopefully that shows in my performances. However some of us have had the benefit of being on real-life stages and having had tuition. Let's not forget that there are a lot of performers in SL who haven't and they still get up and sing their hearts out with true passion. Huge Kudos to them, because it takes guts to do it. Next time you listen to someone sing in-world, ask yourself what it took that person to be doing what they are doing....and give them some encouragement :)
